Lutradur is a spun bonded synthetic fabric made from 100% polyester spun fibres that are thermally bonded into different thicknesses. It can be coloured with paint or ink and sculpted or distressed with heat gun or soldering iron. We stock light, medium and heavy Lutradur, sold in 50cm pieces. Light weight Lutradur is translucent and combines well with fine fabrics such as organza. Medium weight Lutradur is strong enough to give support to other fabrics and dense enough reflect additional colour without being too heavy. The heavier weight Lutradur is more densely formed, self supporting (ideal for 3-D objects) and can be fed through an inkjet printer.
